Nice Learning..Interesting

I was just speaking to a very close friend of mine who is currently doing MBA from Great Lakes, and ended up in learning or rather knowing something which i found very very interesting. A lecture from Nirmal Gupta (who has been voted as best Prof three times in ISB, Hyderabad) was where these intellectual thoughts evolved.

Do you know why we dont see a white colored Scorpio??Reason: When Scorpio was brought out in Indian market, the taxi or public transport market was already filled with Qualis, Sumo and likes and so Mahindra & Mahindra decided to target only the private traffic market. Also, if you see most of the taxis are "White" and hence to keep it different from being branded as a "Taxi" vehicle no white Scorpios were brought in market. Just a piece of information, in case you find one white scorpio dont run to sue me, coz later on Mahindra brought two white Scorpios in Indian market on special requests by two very high profile customers. So incase you find one you are looking at the only "one in two" white Scorpio in India.

Now another awesome thing - Why is digital watches not a boom in India?? Reason: Indians have a mentality of looking at time from a reverse perspective. For ex. if i have to move out for office at 8:15 AM and i check my watch at 7:58 AM, my thinking would be another 15 odd mins to go. Now when i see my digital watch i have to see it as 7:58 AM only, and hence analog is what is in and digital is what is out.

Nice learnings..thats what i felt...!
