Sachin - The GOD of Cricket

The man once again proved that he is the GOD!

Sachin Tendulkar, crossed the jinx of getting out in 90's and has started 2008 with a bang - 150 plus not out, against the best cricket team - Australia! The reaction on his face after crossing the century was of utmost delight, and i am sure would have made many a fans emotional.

Sachin played an awesome innings - "Regal Knock" as has been quoted in many dailies. He went on to spread across his charm, probably the last time, at one of his fav grounds - SCG - where he now averages 326!. Some of the newspapers have gone ahead and changed SCG from Sydney Cricket Ground to "Sachin's Cricket Ground".

A banner in crowd stated - Commit all your crimes when Sachin is batting, They will go unnoticied because even the lord is watching" - on Cricinfo.com. His innings was of ultimate class with tremendous control and aggression when required. Another great thing about the innings was that he showed tremendous faith in tailenders and gave them enough confidence - one of the reasons for India not just surpassing the mammoth total but giving Australia a lead!
